About
Kristina Brandis
I understand reaching out for therapy is not easy for many. My goal is to make that process feel as comfortable and welcoming as possible. I want my clients to feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are — without judgment.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, and young adults. I have supported clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem issues, ADHD, relationship and family challenges, and the ups and downs of life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I use strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with a trauma-informed approach. Together, we’ll look at what’s going on, build practical coping skills, and find ways to help you feel more confident and regulated.
I also understand that therapy with a child or teenager is a partnership with their family. I value working with parents and caregivers while making sure young people have a safe space where they can be themselves and feel comfortable talking openly.
