Our licensed therapists and clinicians are specially trained to work with children and adolescents across all stages of development — and they’re passionate about giving families the tools they need to thrive.

I have over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, and families. I have been an advocate for children in school settings, provided family and group therapy, and also helped individuals of all ages overcome personal struggles. I feel that each person's experience in therapy should be unique based on their goals and what approach fits them and their family the best. I am here to support and guide but each person has the main role in their therapy and how they want to reach their goals and pace of their healing process.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who works with children, adolescents, and young adults. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space while using evidence-based approaches, including CBT and mindfulness, to help clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients build healthy coping skills and reach their personal goals.

If you or your child is struggling with overwhelming anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional trauma or concerns about where your life is going, I can help you to develop the coping skills you need to live a more empowered and fulfilling life.
My journey to becoming a licensed mental health counselor in New York began with me obtaining a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, CW Post campus. My areas of clinical expertise include treating depression, social anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), autism spectrum disorder, emotional traumas, childhood behavior disorders, stress management, self-esteem building, career counseling, relationship conflict and other personal life adjustment issues. I have over twenty-five years of counseling experience, and I am comfortable working with individuals from all age ranges, including children, adolescents, young adults, and individuals in midlife and beyond. Utilizing both a person-centered and cognitive behavioral approach to counseling, I provide clients with compassionate care, emphasizing the teaching of effective coping skills and strategies for improving their lives. In addition to being a mental health counselor, I have worked in educational settings for over twenty years. The skills and experience that I have obtained from working with both college and high school students over the years have helped me to become particularly effective at providing guidance to individuals who are either in the early stages of figuring out their goals for college and future career, or individuals who are in the process of contemplating a career change.
If you or your child is ready to take that critical step toward improved mental health and a more fulfilling life, I would be honored to be there as a source of support, knowledge, and learning of the key skills needed for that journey.

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, psychodynamic approaches, and mindfulness-based practices. This diverse toolkit allows me to adapt my approach to best support you and your individual journey.

Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where children, adolescents, young adults, and families feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
I enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, trauma, school-related challenges, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in evidence-based care, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), exposure-based interventions, behavioral activation, mindfulness, and other practical strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
I believe therapy should be both supportive and goal-oriented. Together, we’ll build practical coping skills, strengthen confidence, improve emotional well-being, and work toward lasting change at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is to help clients not only feel better but also develop the tools they need to navigate future challenges with resilience and confidence.
