About

Robyn Gomez

Robyn Gomez, LCSW, is a Huichol-Xicana therapist with over 20 years of experience working with youth and families. She has worked with clients ranging from birth to elderhood. Robyn integrates ZERO TO FIVE core knowledge skills, holistic Indigenous Knowledges, ancestral healing, relational worldview, and social justice advocacy into her clinical practice. She utilizes both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support individuals on their healing journeys.

Robyn's diverse background spans community organizing, mental health services, medical-social work, gang intervention, and both K-12 and higher education settings. She emphasizes the power of relationships, particularly within the parent-child dyad, to foster growth, facilitate transitions, promote healing, identity, and strengthen relational connections. Her approach helps clients reconnect with their inner strengths.

Through these relational connections, Robyn creates a warm and non-judgmental space where children, adolescents, and adults can reconnect with their holistic selves. She helps individuals understand their feelings and emotions, connect with others, reframe their narratives, and gain deeper insights into their own wisdom. As a wise community elder once said, “One day your personal struggle might be someone’s guide towards their own healing journey.” With years of experience in Reflective Practice and evidence-based models, Robyn provides bilingual services in Spanish. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, racial identity, and life transitions, including pregnancy, parenting, and adjustment to various life changes.
