About

Megha Sundar

Megha is a first-generation Indian American woman whose interest in mental health started in high school, when she noticed many of her peers were struggling and wanted to learn how to help. That curiosity led her to study psychology and later earn her master's degree in counseling. Since then, Megha has gained experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings, as well as with adults in private practice. Megha has supported people from many walks of life navigating a wide range of challenges, including but not limited to school stress, big emotions, relationships, trauma, challenging family dynamics, and questions around identity/belonging. Megha takes a strengths based, collaborative approach to therapy and believes clients are the experts of their lives. She works at each client's pace, offering gentle guidance in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space. She works alongside clients to build coping tools and find solutions that fit their lives. She strives to create an inclusive and affirming environment for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent clients, as well as those exploring or questioning their identities. Megha is also especially passionate about supporting the chronically ill community. Her goal is to help clients feel heard, supported, and more confident, while building tools they can use in everyday life.
