About
Lucia Viegas-Barros
As a bilingual licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in providing trauma-informed psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. With over a decade of experience in outpatient, school, residential, and community settings, I help clients navigate challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and life transitions.
When working with children, I work closely with their families to strengthen relationships and develop healthier dynamics, fostering communication, understanding, and resilience. With adolescents, I provide individualized support to address depression, anxiety, and behavioral health concerns, helping them build healthy coping strategies and a sense of self-confidence.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive space where clients of all ages can feel seen, supported, and empowered.
