About
Lorren Comeaux
Hi, I’m Lorren, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over six years of experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and their families. My experience ranges across schools, community programs, and outpatient settings, where I’ve helped support individuals navigate challenges related to trauma, anxiety, and life transitions.
I use a warm, collaborative, and developmentally sensitive approach, drawing from play therapy, CBT, and trauma informed care to support healing, learning, and growth. I especially enjoy supporting younger children with developmentally appropriate CBT approaches, which may include creative and play-based strategies, as well as helping teens and young adults up to age 28 as they navigate identity and independence.
Partnering with parents and caregivers is an important part of my work. I believe lasting change comes when families feel supported and connected. We work together to create a space that is culturally responsive, safe, and empowering for every child and family.
When I’m not working, you can often find me at local museums, reading, or enjoying San Diego’s outdoors with my 2 year old pup, Ruffles :)
