About
Kimberly McCue
When feelings become overwhelming, talking to someone who understands can help. My approach to therapy involves creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore difficult emotions and situations. I strive to build a strong connection through respect, active listening, and focusing on what is most important to each client.
In my work with my clients, I use strategies from a variety of therapies including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I incorporate evidence-based techniques into my sessions based on the needs of each of my clients.
I am experienced in supporting clients diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. It is an honor for me to connect with my clients and to guide them as they learn new ways to meet their own needs. I have a strong desire to help each client create more of the feelings and experiences that they want to have in their daily lives.
