About
Kalisha Boykin
I work with children, adolescents, and families to create a safe, supportive space where healing, growth, and connection can take place. I understand that children often communicate their emotions through behavior, play, and relationships rather than words alone. My approach focuses on helping young people better understand their feelings, build emotional regulation skills, strengthen self-esteem, and develop healthy ways of coping with life's challenges. When working with families, I view caregivers as important partners in the therapeutic process. Together, we explore patterns, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and create environments where children can thrive. I strive to meet each child and family with curiosity, compassion, and cultural humility, recognizing that every family's story is unique. My hope is that children and families leave therapy feeling more connected, understood, and empowered, with the tools and confidence to navigate life's challenges together.
