About

Ferdie Cadet

I hold dual Master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Public Administration, along with a Doctorate. I provide psychotherapy to individuals across the lifespan and have clinical experience diagnosing and treating a range of mental health conditions, including substance use disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). My practice utilizes evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based interventions, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Clinical services emphasize comprehensive assessment, differential diagnosis, and evidence-informed treatment planning to support symptom reduction, functional improvement, and psychological stabilization.

My clinical approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and professional dedication, with a strong emphasis on building therapeutic alliances that foster insight, empowerment, and psychological growth. I have a particular clinical interest in working with adolescents and young adults, recognizing the developmental interplay of vulnerability and resilience during these stages. Treatment is individualized and may incorporate creative and developmentally appropriate interventions to support self-awareness, emotional regulation, and effective navigation of life stressors.
