About

Abie Nwigwe

Abie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through life’s challenges. Abie earned her Master’s of Social Work from Columbia University and has extensive experience in both school and community settings. She is passionate about helping youth and families build resilience and thrive.

Abie specializes in working with youth navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and navigating difficult family relationships. With a strong foundation in school-based therapy, Abie brings a deep understanding of the multiple systems that impact a youth’s social and emotional well-being. Her work is rooted in helping youth feel empowered, seen, and supported within a culturally responsive and inclusive space.

Outside of her work, Abie finds joy in spending time with her children, getting outside in nature, trying out new recipes, and exploring different creative outlets. These grounding and expressive practices nurture her sense of balance and creativity—qualities that naturally inform and enrich her approach to therapy.
