Handspring Health announced that it has completed the acquisition of Joon Care. This strategic decision is driven by a single overarching goal: to create the most clinically rigorous and digitally engaging platform for youth and family mental healthcare in the country. More than increasing availability, this acquisition aims to significantly elevate the quality of care available to every family.
Handspring's model is rooted in clinical excellence. We built our care around evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Parent Management Training, delivered by a workforce of employed, expertly-trained therapists. Our focus on measurable outcomes, such as 96% of families reporting improvement and an industry-leading NPS of 82, is non-negotiable.
Joon Care shares this deep commitment to high-quality care, particularly in serving the 13–26-year-old age group with skills-based, online therapy. Their clinical team has consistently delivered evidence-based treatment with exceptional fidelity and engagement. With this acquisition, the clinicians on Joon’s platform will officially join Handspring Health, strengthening our combined ability to serve children and young adults with excellence.

Handspring will also continue serving families under Joon’s existing contracts with government agencies, in addition to its commercial payer partnerships. As part of the acquisition, Handspring will preserve and strengthen these government relationships.
