What This Webinar Covers
This talk will present a cognitive behavioral framework for understanding youth anxiety, and in particular, anxiety related to performance expectation and fear of the illusory concept of “failure.” From the theoretical explanation for how youth develop different manifestations of anxiety (e.g., excessive worry, panic, avoidance) related to compulsive needs to perform at high levels, rationale for different interventions will be provided. This talk will include case presentation/examples.
