About the Speaker

Meir Flancbaum, PsyD
Meir Flancbaum, PsyD is a clinical psychologist and founder of the Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy in East Brunswick, NJ. He is passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults overcome social, emotional, and behavioral challenges so they can thrive at home, in school, and in their communities. Dr. Flancbaum specializes in the evaluation and treatment of Tourette syndrome, OCD, anxiety, trichotillomania, ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders, and school refusal. Beyond providing therapy, he partners with parents, educators, and schools to create effective strategies through consultation, teacher training, and professional development workshops. Dr. Flancbaum also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and Coordinator of CBT Training for Child Psychiatry Fellows at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he received several awards for outstanding teaching, most recently in 2024. A frequent presenter to schools and organizations, Dr. Flancbaum is dedicated to equipping young people—and the adults who support them—with tools that make a lasting difference.
