What This Webinar Covers
Distress Tolerance and Emotional Regulation Skills This two-part webinar series is led by Wendy Robinson-Miller, LCSW, a Clinical Supervisor at Handspring. It will include both an overview of the benefits of DBT skills and how they can be taught in the school environment, as well as provide you with concrete strategies and tools to help students manage difficult emotions and build healthy relationships.
About the Speaker

Wendy Robinson-Miller, LCSW.
Wendy Robinson- Miller is an experienced clinical social worker and supervisor with over 15 years of working in mental health settings and academic medical centers specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. She provides Child, Adolescent, Adult therapy as well as Parent Training using evidence based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Group Therapy, and Crisis Interventions. Wendy is currently a Clinical Supervisor at Handspring Health and Adjunct Faculty at Tulane University School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical work, Wendy is dedicated to educating future mental health clinicians and addressing mental health stigma in our communities.
