About
Lynette Mercado
Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a passion for supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and their families through life’s challenges. With years of experience in both school-based and private practice settings, I bring a compassionate, culturally responsive, and client-centered approach to therapy.
My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflict, and trauma. I also have experience supporting clients navigating identity development, academic stress, and relationship issues. My therapeutic style blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strength-based approaches, while also incorporating creative and holistic tools to meet each client where they are.
Whether I’m helping a young child find their voice, a teen cope with emotional stress, or a family rebuild communication, my goal is to create a safe space where healing and growth feel possible.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a parent, a lifelong learner, and someone who deeply values human connection, laughter, and resilience. I look forward to walking alongside you or your family on the journey toward wellness.
