What This Webinar Covers
This webinar will include both an overview of the benefits of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills and their role within the broader structure of DBT treatment, a discussion of the different modules of DBT skills and their application, as well as provide you with concrete strategies and tools you can use to help youth manage difficult emotions, build healthy relationships and thrive. Through practical interventions and case-based application, participants will strengthen their ability to understand, implement, and teach these important skills across clinical settings. One hour of CE credit is available for attendees who are present for the entire program. To obtain credit, we will ask that you complete the post-program evaluation form at the conclusion of the program. Your CE certificate will be emailed to you.
About the Speaker

Dr. Amy Kranzler
Dr. Amy Kranzler is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Chief Clinical Officer at Handspring Health. Before joining the team at Handspring, Amy was the Clinical Director of the DBT program at Montefiore Medical Center and the Associate Director of CBT training. Within her role at Handspring, Amy is focused on increasing access to high quality evidence-based care by providing high quality training for both Handspring therapists and their school and community partners. Amy’s research on suicide, nonsuicidal self-injury, and emotion regulation has been published widely and her work has been presented at both national and international conferences, as well as through clinical trainings to schools and districts throughout the region.
